Re: PNY GT 610 2GB
Truly, I understand that this is an older card and not really efficient as these things go. I am interesting in crushing COVID by any means necessary and as I was looking in the e-waste pile at work; I saw it and knew that it was a Fermi card that supported DP. I thought that I could add one more ca...

Re: PNY GT 610 2GB
@Joe_H
Thanks, it seemed odd that the older Quadro 4000 cards were working and the slightly newer GT 610 wasn't. Not a total loss since the box has CPU that are working.

Re: PNY GT 610 2GB
JimboPalmer Thanks for the reply but I have 3 Quadro 4000 cards running which have OpenCL 1.1 and 2GB of VRAM. I understand that these cards are low-powered but they are still crunching WU and easily finishing Wu before the deadline. Yes, this GT 610 card is weaker than those but running flat-out de...

PNY GT 610 2GB
This is more of a general question and can certainly post the 100 line log if needed. I have multiple Nvidia Fermi cards folding with 2GB of VRAM and when I discovered PNY GT 610 2GB card in the e-waste pile at work; I grabbed it for another machine. The CPU folds fine but this GT 610 card is not ge...

Re: Another GPU just showed up...
That happened to me, and I picked up several WU and completed them. I didn't mention because I was afraid to jinx it but if it was just a test that leaked into production that is not bad. I am all for adding as many GPU and other types of accelerators as possible. While I feel for every person that ...

Re: Old Quadro 4000 (GF100): Should I expect only 9405PPD?
@RichieOnTheFold Half of my GPU farm is Quadro 4000 that were working until a few days ago with no changes on my side. If the Quadro 4000 was blacklisted and not supported then it would show up as "Not Supported" in the log. 192.0.2.1 is an address that shows up in the log when there is no...

Re: Android Abandoned?
@Darth_Peter_dualxeon, I don't want to restart the debate about whether ARM phones are appropriate or not. I have both phones and single board computers in sufficient quantity and am willing to spend the power and hassle of running them to support FAH in whatever capacity possible IF it were still p...

Re: Android Abandoned?
@Joe_H
Thanks for the update! I realize that it is more resources that F@H doesn't have but ARM systems are getting more powerful and more plentiful by the day. Even small amounts of work would be more than was available before.

Re: Android Abandoned?
There is mention of a person on the OpenWRT forum getting FAH to install on a OpenWRT install of a D-LINK router just a few weeks ago. Can someone from Pande Group state definitely that all of the ARM infrastructure is shut down? It looks like some Android clients are "participating" in ti...

Re: Reclassify AMD FirePro V5800
FAHBench showed that it not supported? I wonder if it is a driver issue? Since the Terascale 2 wiki entry mentions DP as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TeraScale ... chitecture)#TeraScale_2_%22Evergreen%22-family I must be mistaken but it looks like that it isn't supported at present. If I can ...

Re: Reclassify AMD FirePro V5800
Joe,
Thanks for your quick reply! The wiki entry here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_A ... sing_units shows 224 GLOPS of DP, but I would like to test it if I can. I will DL Fahbench and see what it does and report back here.

Re: Android Abandoned?
I downloaded it via APKMirror and I have it running on an LG G3 and a Nexus 7 2012 tablet but it doesn't show any accumulated time. If your client is showing contribing time then I would guess that it contacted a WU server and it is processing a WU. I wonder if there is any kind of log that we can s...

Reclassify AMD FirePro V5800
I started a new topic but it based in part on the topic in this forum #32042, "Problems getting new WU". I searched through my pile of obsolete GPU looking for DP capable cards and I have 3 FirePro V5800 TeraScale 2 boards that are listed as supporting DP but are being classified as AMD se...
