Re: GPU Task that probably needs dumping?
But one source of the confusion showing in your log / System Info is the line for OpenCL Device 1. That would be the integrated GPU on the Intel CPU. Thanks, so my mistake, I have an OpenCL 1.1. Two Questions: ONE At this point this WU is going nowhere on my laptop: it will go past both TIMEOUT and...

Re: GPU Task that probably needs dumping?
Thank you Neil-B. I maybe didn't check fully enough. I did check the GPUs.txt file and the 610M was there. I also had a look with GPU-Z, but I guess I didn't hover my mouse over the OpenCL item. I also was misled by the System Info that says OPENCL Device 1: .... Compute 1.2 https://i.imgur.com/8Vem...

Re: GPU Task that probably needs dumping?
How do you so elegantly post logs in a little scrollable window? I've just seen GT 555M Won't Start WUs message near mine!
Apologies for using a baseball bat to post my log.

GPU Task that probably needs dumping?
Hello, A good Easter to you all. I have a Asus A55V laptop with a Nvidia Geforce 610M GPU that has managed to snag itself a task that is set to last 16 or so days. The project is 11781 Assigned: April 10th 10:17 Timeout: April 11th 10:17 Expiration: April 18th 15:17. So far with a burning hot laptop...

Re: Is not completing WUs on time useless ?
Thank you for the explanation of the difference between TIMEOUT and EXPIRATION. I had not actually noticed the difference, I've just glanced at the Web Control that says that my computer has 7 days to complete the WU or whatever which is the Expiration. Doesn't affect me or Folding@Home as I have 3 ...

How to tell if I'm getting bonus points?
https://apps.foldingathome.org/cpu if I search for my user name and see "Got Bonus" = 1 - I presume that means I got the bonus points on that CPU, correct?

Re: Running more than one machine
An unconnected question, but the column "Got Bonus" = 1 in the user per cpu link above, means that I was getting the bonus points, is that correct? Thanks.

Re: No WUs available for this configuration
Thank you for the explanation. One point to bear in mind is that -new people- to Folding at Home need to be looked after. I include myself in that group. I have been doing distributed computing with boinc since 2004 so I am not a newbie, but coming here and not being able to get a WU on 3 laptops fo...

Re: Temporary server outages
I'm amazed that this post is so quiet. I am a veteran cruncher on Boinc with Climateprediction. net and then when climateprediction didn't have WUs I added WorldCommunityGrid.... Thought I would reduce power and give some help to F@H as that is the global emergency. I have 3 laptops that I added on ...

Re: Temporary server outages
Okay, so I came from Boinc. Longtime (2004ish) cruncher for Climateprediction and then for WorldCommunityGrid when Climateprediction had reduced WU's to send. I see from the Server stats page that the server I'm attached to seems to be okay. 128.252.203.10 - Is there anyway I can get my pc to manual...
