Re: Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC
I have 2 MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super Ventus GP OC cards on one of my systems. Using MSI Afterburner I have a core clock of +90, mem clock of +550, core voltage +3% and power limit set to 67%, with these settings they are pulling approx 123w avg, and if you run 24 hours expected 1.2m ppd each. Just fo...

Re: Core package header and Overlapped IO Errors
My 3990x has the overlapped error between 100 and 500 times per hour, it makes reading the log in advanced impossible or doing anything really. Very annoying, if I want to pause a slot by the time I've right clicked and pressed pause the log error has refreshed the page and I click on the wrong slot!

try "client-type", "beta" or "advanced". I've had all my slots on each machine full 24/7 now for 3/4 days

Try 2 free programs, throttle stop and t throttle. T throttle you can set a max temp, and once it reaches that it throttles down to let it cool. throttle stop lets you adjust the multiplier very easily which will also reduce temps.

There is also rosetta at home on BOINC which is just cpu work, they have plenty at the moment. Cpu slots here are idle more often than not, hoping that will soon change.

Re: Will folding 8hrs/day 5days/week trash my PC eventually?
use msi afterburner and set a custom fan profile so it blows a bit quicker sooner, and use the power slider and reduce power to 80%, this should keep it around 50 degrees. Lovely!

Re: Folding@Home software causing extremely high temps
It sounds from your description that you have intake fans, then aio cooler? So your hot air from cooler is passing through case? I'd set it to run the opposite way so the air from rad vents straight out. I have a large case, aio cooler on top, 2 gpus, front has 2 intake, bottom 2 intake, 1 intake on...

Re: Not sure my WU's are completing / getting credit for
its unlikely you are running 24/7 considering the lack of work, as I type I have 3 gpu's and 2 cpu's available for work. If you're at your pc all day you could run boinc rosetta@home, they have some covid work also. When I get a FAH come through I switch resources.

Re: Not sure my WU's are completing / getting credit for
the client keeps trying to send the wu, as time passes the bonus decays, to check if you have wu not sent then open advanced control, status tab, work queue window and you will see wu there with 100%. If you watch for a second or two in the credit column it should be reducing, this means its waiting...

Re: Any Way to Set F@h GPU Load Cap in 2020?
You could try setting the number of cores the gpu is allowed to use, I haven't done so, maybe someone has and could advise.
