Re: Can't seem to fold, am on MacOS Mojave with an eGPU
Saeven: Just an FYI - I am also on macOS 10.14.6 and the CPU folding has been working for me for the past couple of weeks. I have not seen the error you reported - just the one about "No WUs available for this configuration" (because there are so many people!). Is it possible your network ...

Re: Volunteering to fix F@H Viewer
FYI - on macOS at least - FAHControl 7.5.1 is not using Qt - it's using GTK. It includes libs such as libgdk-quartz-2.0.0 and libgtkmacintegration-gtk2.2 - no Qt libs to be found...rixon wrote:FAHControl is written in Python/Qt

Re: In-depth donor history?
This is a real shame from an outreach/growth perspective. It's an obvious thing people want to be able to see - what have I contributed to?
It's a great project, but it seems like it really needs some UX lovin' to make it more interesting/accessible to the general public.

In-depth donor history?
Is there a way to see a history for my account to see which projects I've contributed to and how much? The donor info page only shows a Total Score (what is it?) and the number of work units complete. Clicking them doesn't take me to more in-depth info as I would have expected, but to some strange &...

FAHControl - clicking project number does not open project
I'm always curious about which project my computer is working on. In FAHControl, there's a project number that's a button in the Selected Work Unit section. Clicking it does not open the project's web page as I'd expect. It doesn't do anything. Suggestions: - make it link to the project page - give ...

{macOS} Using GPU? (ANSWERED)
I have the client running on an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019). Re: {macOS} Client stopped receiving work
OK - thanks to both of you for the info! @Joe: Using the slider would be a lot more convenient. I find I'm switching it up depending on what I'm doing at the time. Open FAHControl -> click the slider -> close FAHControl. (Actually, on macOS a system menu would make most sense... start/stop/slider fo...

Re: {macOS} Client stopped receiving work
If I dial it back to 7 cores will that make a difference? To answer my own question: I set it to 7 cores (Light), restarted the client, and it downloaded an assignment properly. Either this is coincidental timing, or it worked :-) I would have expected that if the assignments are based on number of...

Re: {macOS} Client stopped receiving work
Ah - thanks!
If I dial it back to 7 cores will that make a difference?
Aside: Is there a way to have finer-grained control over # of cores in FAHControl? It seems like I'm limited to 7, 15, or 16 (Light, Medium, Full).

{macOS} Client stopped receiving work (SOLVED)
