Re: Poor Quadro Performance

You are not using the latest client, so it handles the number of CPU clients poorly. https://foldingathome.org/alternative-downloads/ Once on 7.5.1, I would set power to full and CPUs to 18 (or 20) To avoid 'large primes', you are using 12 of the 24 CPU Threads. If you do a clean install of 7.5.1 i...

Poor Quadro Performance

I am running an UnRAID server with the FAH docker installed. The system is a Threadripper 1920X w/ 32GB RAM and Quadro K4000(GK104), GT 730(GK208) and Quadro K2000(GK107) GPUs. I have 8C/16T dedicated to the docker. 13T are CPU slots and the other 3 are reserved for the 3 GPUs. The performance overa...

Poor Threadripper 1920X Performance

I am running FAH in a docker on UnRAID. I have 20 of my 24 threads dedicated to FAH. There are two GPUs as well, but I have plenty of threads to handle that. I am only seeing about 45K PPD, but I am reading that the threadripper CPUs can hit near 100K PPD. Is there something I am doing wrong? Should...

Re: Poor performance with Multi-GPU in Windows

Here is my log. I would expect it to be slower, but I don't understand why it starts at the same speed as my 1080 then. Also, it is now slower than my Ryzen 5 2600X (~50K PPD). That doesn't make sense to me. I would think it would be faster than a CPU. *********************** Log Started 2019-10-24T...

Poor performance with Multi-GPU in Windows

I am having an issue with folding on my Windows 10 Desktop. I have a GTX 1080 (@ x8 3.0) and Quadro K4000 (x4 2.0) in my system. I have FAH client 7.5.1 installed and I have a CPU slot, and a GPU slot for each card. They have the OpenCL and CUDA indicies set to -1. The GPUs start out folding at full...
