Re: 13422 failing on RX 5700XT Linux
Going through the same with 13423 on Linux with RX570 / RX560 / APU 190 out of 193 WUs came back faulty, today. Woke up to all 7 GPUs being deteceted as faulty by the client. I'm dropping the rig out of advanced as I'm just tired of baby sitting this. 14:14:09:WU01:FS07:Received Unit: id:01 state:DO...

grep -h logs/* log.txt -e '^\*' -e 'project:16600' -e 'project:13421' I did the grep. The forum has a limit of 60000 characters, so I put it in this gist https://gist.github.com/Nuitari/1306a2a ... 6ecaad7f6e Rig 1 (5x rx570, 1x rx560, 1x carrizo APU) Rig 2 (1x RX560 "OC version", 3x RX57...

Re: 16600 consistently crashing on AMD Radeon VII
I've been checking on the gpu temperatures and mines are around 60C +/- 2C at all times, I don't think its the cause of the problem. The default profile from AMD allows for much (~90C) temperatures.
Plus when they start churning faulty WUs, they are cooler.

Re: Project 13421
That's the package for compiling opencl code, but I will install it.
I will check for the nvidia drivers, I'm not sure what is the latest one for that very old card model.
The card works well otherwise, except for that project

Re: Project 13421
The more powerful NVIDIA cards I have don't get project 13421, the only one that does is a GeForce GTX 660 In fact, it is the only one out of the 4 nvidia cards that is having that project. Driver 384.130 Ubuntu 16.04 Drivers are the binaries coming from ubuntu Nothing special otherwise, CPU is an o...

Re: 16600 consistently crashing on AMD Radeon VII
The project owner could easily reconfigure things to block AMD GPU from it.
Doesn't fix the fact that there is something broken either in the core or the project.

Re: 3.21.157.11 overloaded?
No the client does NOT handle retries properly. It might eventually time out. But it will NOT try to go to a different server until you restart the client.

Re: Project 13421
12 GPUs out of 16 this morning were faulty because of project 13421.
All WUs that fail even before the step 0.

Re: 16600 consistently crashing on AMD Radeon VII
No where was it ever mentioned that the Intel GPU slot was causing any issue. Its part of what the client sees, however it cannot use it as its not included in the opencl devices.

Re: Project 13421
One was a GeForce GTX 660, the other an APU (A8-9600) And this morning, 2 different RX570 and a RX560 I checked the 226 WU of project 13421 that the last rig got and found the following: 54 Success from me, with no other failures 86 faulty were I was the only one (probably will be reassigned) 19 whe...

Re: Project 13421
I don't have any problem doing the p13400 projects, in fact I would prefer to focus on those. However the client itself need to handle errors much more gracefully then it does now.

Project 13421
I think this is more of an issue with the client then the project itself. It seems that sometimes one of my GPUs receive a long string of faulty units from Project 13421 and the client marks the GPU failed. that means I have to once again babysit 9 different computers that do folding... The error is...

It happened on its own.
Nothing in the log mentions a clock skew being detected.
