Re: More work units that will exceed expiry time
Thanks toTOW ... I've aborted that work unit and received a more suitable one.

More work units that will exceed expiry time
I have noticed this on a few occasions in the last couple of weeks. Also, my daily points score has reduced hugely in that time despite nothing having changed at my end. Is this a general issue ? Example from today: 12:08:12:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 13.59.134.176:8080 12:08:13:WU00:FS00:Assigned to w...

Re: What has happened to the stats maintained at https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/
I also see such weird thing from my smartphone : it works for a while on the laptop after I activate tethering, but it stops working later ... Something weird is happening with EOC ... :( Indeed, something very strange is going on. Even DNS lookups appear to have disappeared: $ nslookup > forum.ext...

What has happened to the stats maintained at https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/
They seem to have completely gone - this is all I get:
I've been using that site to track my team's statistics for many years - any suggestions what I should be using instead ?Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at folding.extremeoverclocking.com.

171.67.108.158 again
I now have several systems at various locations stuck in "Downloading" over the last couple of days. Common feature appears to be the Work Server at 171.67.108.158 again: 19:16:25:WU01:FS00:0xa7:Completed 4900000 out of 5000000 steps (98%) 19:24:55:WU01:FS00:0xa7:Completed 4950000 out of 5...

Re: FAHCore 0xA4 credits downgraded ?
ok, it's definitely a problem at 171.67.108.158: My folding username is Blue_Bubble Here's a snippet from a very recent work unit : 10:09:26:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 155.247.166.219:8080 10:09:26:WU01:FS00:Running FahCore: /usr/bin/FAHCoreWrapper "/Library/Application Support/FAHClient/cores/cor...

Re: FAHCore 0xA4 credits downgraded ?
Thanks Jimbo, I had actually seen that thread. The server in that thread is 128.252.203.9 (islay.seas.wustl.edu). The server my work units are uploading to is 171.67.108.58 (vspd4.stanford.edu). Nevertheless, I sure am hoping it's the same issue; my daily points score will plummet if the work unit c...

FAHCore 0xA4 credits downgraded ?
For the last 2 or 3 days I have noticed that all my 0xA4 work units complete with a credit estimate of a mere 207.00 points (appears to be a constant regardless of how quickly or slowly they run).
Most of these work units would have been rated at 1500 to 1600 previously.
What has happened ?

Is there any way to force 0xa4 WUs only ?
I have a 24-CPU system that for various reasons I cannot upgrade to enable 0xa7 WUs to be processed (shared libraries are old versions, which causes 0xa7 WUs to fail). I have set max-packet-size to "small" and for a long time this seemed to favour 0xa4 WUs to be processed. For the last few...

Re: trouble with fah_core_a7 on 32 bit OS
Core_a7 should not run on older hardware or software. It is optimized for recent CPUs that can run AVX2 instructions, which requires newer OSs. If you post the first 100 lines of your log, they may be able to prevent other Core_a7 WUs from downloading to your PC. Jimbo, I'd be very appreciative if ...
