Re: Bad work unit??

For sure! Would like to see what the 3080 on cuda folding is capable of. Lowered my power limit a bit more to ensure long term stability. Waiting on some parts to redo my water loop. For now, looks like the factory overclock here is suspect. Thank you all for your information and suggestions! Now, o...

Re: Bad work unit??

That's why I bought this bad boy back in the day! No joke back then! Still a great card today! In no way am I trying to waste production units, but rather trying to utilize my hardware to what it was designed to do. Thank you Bruce for the explanation. Perhaps from running on and off for years, ther...

Re: Bad work unit??

For the last 22 hours, it took reducing the power limit to 80%, core clock running at 1329 currently. Seems to be stable on cuda folding for the time being. The factory overclock on this 980ti is 1404mhz.

Re: Bad work unit??

> When did the cuda update in folding drop again?? T core22 0.0.13 with CUDA support rolled out on Mon 28 Sep for most folks (though BETA users had it more than a week earlier). Is just this project giving you trouble, or all of them? ~ John Chodera // MSKCC This seems to align to when I started ex...

Re: Particle coordinate is nan???

Thank you all for the suggestions! I have tried down locking with similar results, still odd errors. Last week, I actually tore it apart, cleaned and applied new thermal paste as well. What other program could I try that would emulate the sort of cuda load that folding does? Literally every thing el...

Re: Particle coordinate is nan???

Is factory overclocked. Has worked flawlessly for years. Have tried Aida64 extreme, some mining with nice hash, and every other stress test for the GPU I could think of. Folding at home is the only program having issues currently. Have even tried downclocking the GPU... Still happens... Something ab...

Re: Bad work unit??

Additionally, and the root of the problem, I had to disassemble my water loop due to some buildup of gunk in the loop. Have been back on air cooling last two weeks. This problem started last week. When did the cuda update in folding drop again?? Temps are 73 C on the GPU, max 75C.. I have parts arri...

Have never messed with overclocking it manually... Set up afterburner, and reduced -90 tp 1314, and its going along right now.. Found default nvid...

I take that back, 456.55 and 456.38 both do it, 452.06 seems stable.
