Re: Folding on AMD Radeon 8610G- Driver Problems
Thanks for all the help everyone! I guess the thing to do is update to 15.7 drivers and give FAHBench a try. Sorry to hear the hardware's probably not fully supported anymore though. Kind of too bad that there's still all that processing power not being leveraged, I'm sure there are plenty of people...

Re: Folding on AMD Radeon 8610G- Driver Problems
the GT 120 is a card that no longer can be used for folding. Really? My friend's been folding on his GT 120 for a few months now, last I checked it was still fine. I can double check with him though. You got what I meant anyways. Using the Microsoft installer is probably your problem. As I said, I ...

Re: Folding on AMD Radeon 8610G- Driver Problems
When the GPU failed other WU's besides the one shown in this log, is the error the same "14:41:05:WU00:FS01:0x21:ERROR:NaNs detected in forces. 0 0"? Thanks for the timely response! Yes, it's always the same error, forgot to mention that. I deleted the slot right after that because I didn...

Folding on AMD Radeon 8610G- Driver Problems
Trying to help my brother out with folding on his laptop- he's been folding with it for a few weeks already but only with the CPU and not the graphics. He has a Dell Inspiron M531R-5535, which uses an AMD A10-5745M APU with Radeon 8610G graphics. This is a reasonably powerful APU for a laptop and he...

Re: F@H Client issues
If you want to fix the symptoms you describe, I'd assume it's most likely heat or power related and start with additional cooling. If you're happy folding at Medium, that's fine, too. 1st Thing I'd do is clean out the heatsink on the graphics card, take the card out, remove all the excess dust and ...

Re: F@H Client issues
Have you tried: Start > All Apps > FAHClient > FAHControl ? Thank you. I'd been looking for something like that. And yes, I know I can get the log file from the folder, just been busy is all, sorry. I got it to work just fine set to medium (minus the icon still being gone), but when I turned it to ...

Re: F@H Client issues
........... (Also, see below) @v-raze, read here: How to provide enough info to get helpful support. I did read that, the first time. I can't get at the log file like I normally do because the icon is not visible, so I can't open advanced control by right clicking it. Is there another way to launch...

Re: F@H Client issues
Welcome to the folding support forum, v-raze. Is your system overclocked? If sounds like that might be the problem. Back off the overclock and see what happens. FAH uses more resources that most other things you might be doing, so an overclock that's apparently stable running games will often be un...

F@H Client issues
Okay, so I'm relatively new to F@H and looking forward to contributing. I've created a group, gotten my friends involved, and started folding with my laptop. However, I wanted to get some serious work done by leaving my gaming desktop and it's 560 Ti GPU folding 24/7. However- when I tried to fold t...
