Re: XFX Issues

2 different PSUs and still having the same exact problem. Tuf X570-plus motherboard and 32 gigs memory. Memtest came out fine. Underclocked. Same issue. There is a setting or something that is causing this and I can't quite figure it out. I have tried a boatload of things. WU fails shortly after sta...

I work tomorrow but have Tuesday and Wednesday off. Im going to throw one of my 6600xts in and see if it folds. If it doesnt I'll sap the psu. This is a fairly new psu with not much use. I have a few extras I can try. I'll let you know.

Re: XFX Issues

After using my head a little I just pulled it and slapped it into my multi mining/folding rig. And away it went. Now I have to figure out why this machine won't. The other rig has 1 5500xt, and 2 6600xt and 2 6600 and a 6700xt.

Reinstalled. Folding started with no percentage update. It was folding for awhile too! Rebooted and back to failing again. :e?:

Re: XFX Issues

Some things that might help are which OS you are using, which version of the F@h client, and how much RAM you have installed. I do know Project 18260 is particularly large and may use a larger amount of RAM during initialization. Did you see WUs from other projects at all? OS is Windows 11. Version...

XFX Issues

I Have a XFX 9070 Swift. I don't OC. Tried latest drivers, rolled back to prior drivers and same exact issue. I'm stumped. My other rig with 6 GPUs 5000/6000 series has zero problems. I have been haven't been able to run FOH it yet. It downloads and starts folding, I watch the PPDs start counting do...

Re: Please add XFX 9070

Ok. Thanks it won't fold. My other 6 GPUs zero problems. This one is in an endless loop. I'm at a loss. It downloads then I see the PPD countdown for a bit, never see an increase in perecentage and a few minutes later it wipes and starts over.

Hi. Is there a reason my multi GPUs won't fold? All are AMD GPUs but they are showing active with no points accumulating.

Plug a couple of cards directly into the motherboard, I'm assuming the motherboard has a couple of x16 slots.
It does. Thank you. I will have to rip the rig apart to get them in there and see what happens.

Re: GPUs active no progress

A few more thoughts. This feels like a mining rig you're trying to repurpose - small cpu, lots of GPUs, x1 PCIe risers for the GPUs? A folding rig is a very different beast from a mining rig. The CPU is constantly moving data to and from the GPUs. It needs bandwidth for the GPUs, x8 recommended, x4...
