My case is the exact same as P5-133XL described it: There is a common failure mode when the video driver resets where the folding consoles show progress and stops then holds at 99% but the log does not show any progress and the %GPU usage stays at 0%. Pausing and resuming the bad GPU again triggered...

Searched the Event Viewer for potential display driver issues and these two seem likely.
What are your thoughts?

I asked about the overclocking because the different algos respond differently to engine clock, mem clock and their ratio.

can you make 1 CPU core meet the requirements of 2 GPUs

I also did a test under windows with 280x but it still wasn't folding with the GPU. Could it be that 280x are not supported?

trying to fold with 3 7970s on an ubuntu linux.
Unfortunatelly gpus are at Status: Update_core
using G1820 celeron and asrock h81 pro btc motherboard.
