Re: New Assignment Server feedback/problem
I'm also having problems with my newly built (non-clocked) and fully updated Windows 7 folding rig. My (MSI) GTX 980 folds project 7623 fine, but the (Asus) GTX Titan fails with BAD_WORK_UNIT (114 = 0x72) for project 13001 constantly. Here are my the logfile from folding, and dumps from msinfo and d...

MTH1 / Helleday Laboratory - Generic cure for cancer?
MTH1 inhibitor from Helleday Laboratory - a possible cure for cancer? What do you think? Is this better or comparable to CD47 or F@H C-SRC discovery?

Re: F@H's Recent Work On Cancer
I've just read the post, and as a person with a non-biomedical background this post really got me excited! From what I understand, F@H has analyzed the protein c-src, which is most commonly found and required by cancer cells, and has found a location where it can be bound to, to prevent it from ever...

Re: Fighting cancer on Folding@Home: EGFR
Nice work!!! I've been eager to get a 13000 WU on my GTX Titan rig for days now (using client-type advanced) but without luck. Anyway it's really good news to know that this project is now on Full, does this also mean that the chance of getting a 13000 WU will increase?

Statistics
Hi!
I started collecting statistics from FAH in the end of 2013. I've created a simple page that shows global Folding@Home statistics (over time). Please check it out, and feel free to send questions & feedback: http://app.johanssonrobotics.com/folding/
Have a great day all!

Re: Fighting cancer on Folding@Home: EGFR
@PantherX / @Kyleb, any ETA when the EGFR project will go live? I'm really eager to let my Titan rig work on this. Thanks for all your hard work!

Re: LAN Partys / Gaming Events
Also, while I'm on it. What about computer stores or internet cafes? In Sweden e.g. we have http://www.infernoonline.com/ which are a HUGE place where you can go and 'rent' a high-end computer in a permanent LAN for 1-n hours at a time. I imagine if they install Folding@Home in their park it would b...

LAN Partys / Gaming Events
What about creating a event package that can be easily implemented on yearly Gaming LAN Partys? When I was younger I used to attend to programming contests [demoparty] (Assembly in Finland, The Party in Denmark, Remedy in Sweden) which are nowdays more or less pure Gaming-only parties (e.g. Dreamhac...

Re: flops/day?
Wow! Just looking at what has happened since 2012 - capacity has _doubled_ - IN A YEAR (!) This project is truly a fantastic way to contribute to research and an innovative way to utilize all unused computing power. Thanks!

Re: flops/day?
Cool, I guess that would be a nice dimension to the chart - were all the computing power comes from. If the data exists (and hopefully it does thanks to extremeoverclocking.com) I guess a stacked line chart would visualize this in a nice way. I'll contact the database owner and continue my dig :) I'...

Re: flops/day?
Thank you for the links! I'm now checking out extremeoverclocking.com and hope that their database contains the historical numbers I'm interested in. It would be cool to see the computing power development over time - it must have increased multiple times just because of the new code in v7- that tak...

flops/day?
Hi! I just started folding again (after a break for several years) and are now building a GTX Titan rig to support this cause. I'm wondering if there's a chart somewhere that shows the number of folding CPUs over time? Also the total number of points per day over time would also be interesting - I i...
