Re: A few problems (faulty WUs/crash/hard-reset)

Re: A few problems (faulty WUs/crash/hard-reset)
Checking my logs again, it was 14 minutes, not 10. P8566 (R1/C4/G222). 8577 (R1/C5/G232) did the same thing, and 8570 (R1/C4/G226) is when things straightened out. When I relaunched F@H (P8566) the progress was still on 0 steps out of 500000, so I presumed nothing happened. Considering I always got ...

Re: A few problems (faulty WUs/crash/hard-reset)
I don't overclock, and the system doesn't overheat. It actually got a good cleaning last month, and has plenty of air circulation. The GPU is steady at 62-63 degs and CPU is just as happy. I decided to go back to 7.3.6, got a new WU for the CPU but then it got stuck for 10 minutes and made no progre...

Re: A few problems (faulty WUs/crash/hard-reset)
I set the CPU to 6, although with 7.3.6 it was on 8 cores and the GPU never complained. Regarding the CPU/GPU: neither of them is overclocked and both are running in normal temperatures. However a few hours ago while I was cleaning my room I got a 0x101 BSOD error which is unfortunate. Hours before ...

A few problems (faulty WUs/crash/hard-reset)
Heya, Earlier today I decided to upgrade to F@H V7.4.2 beta just to try it out while keeping an eye on it. During the day everything seemed fine, so during the evening I went out. When I came back, I couldn't even get to the log in screen, and the computer just froze. The restart button didn't work,...

Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
My 660Ti is getting core 15 (p8018) only unless I add client-type advance, then it switches to p8900. When removing that config from the slot setting it switches back to core 15.

Re: Project 8900 problems
Hello again, I have some news after playing for a week now with FAH and GPU drivers. - I have installed the AMD 13.11 Beta V9.2 MOD Driver as the official ones did not function - The latest drivers from Intel for the HD3000 made my entire screen red (thank god I could still ctrl+a the text and figur...

Re: Project 8900 problems
I installed the Catalyst drivers 13.11 Beta 9.2 since starting 13.11 it appears AMD supports the AMD Mobility Radeon series, especially for switchable graphics. Unfortunately at the end of the install it "installed" the drivers yet the Catalyst Control Center couldn't find any drivers and ...

Re: Project 8900 problems
Yes I have been wondering whether I should be updating the drivers. HP of course does not show new updates. The laptop I use has switchable graphics which means the drivers do not work. In the future (v13.11 drivers) it appears they will have switchable graphics update so I might get that, but for t...

Re: Project 8900 problems
I pressed the CPU to finish, I'm going to guess it's going to finish the WU it's been given, which has ~13 hours on it left. According to GPU-Z, I run atiumdag 8.8882.2.3000 (released 30th Sept 2011). FAHBenchmark says clSetKernelArg for both Explicit and Implicit Solvents. It does identify the CPU ...

Project 8900 problems
Hello! I have been folding on my laptop without any problems for a while now, but for the last 3 days the GPU was unable to fold anything from Project 8900, only getting error:FAULTY every time. I searched around these forums and the internet trying to find solutions but none seem to have helped. Co...
