When I open www.stanford.edu:80 , it opens but the ":80" part of the url drops and it turns into http://www.stanford.edu/ . That's OK. (and to be expected.) Let's go one step further. Try http://www.stanford.edu/~pande/OSX/AMD64/Core_a4.fah. Your browser should give the normal messages as...

In the address page of your browser, enter www.stanford.edu:80 . Does it open successfully? If your browser can open it, FAHClient should be able to open it too unless there's a firewall that's blocking FAHClient.exe When I open www.stanford.edu:80 , it opens but the ":80" part of the url...

Hey, I'm new and need help. Online but inactive.

I've been looking around on forums for a while now and I can't seem to find a solution. I've disabled ipv6 and made sure I had the correct version downloaded (mac OS 10.6.8).
