Re: Extremely Low PPD on Top Pascal Gpu's
Hello, this is my first post on these forums. I'll provide a log later on during the day but I will explain my problem. One of our folding rig, contains 3 Titan Xp's(Pascal top Gpu). Highest PPD we have ever seen is almost 3m range, but normally about 2m-2.6m/2.7m range. And we tried to do some fol...

Re: Issue with AMDGPU and RX 480 on Linux
You will at least need the OpenCL portion of the AMDGPU-PRO driver. If you are running Arch Linux, there is a package in the AUR, that is just the OpenCL bits of the Pro driver. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/opencl-amd With that package you can run the amdgpu kernel driver, and use the OpenCL b...

Not sure if you have tried folding on your laptop again, but the M1200 has been added to the GPUs.txt file.

Re: WARNING Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers (for xx<48)
The Linux beta driver does not have the hotfix that was in the Windows driver. It is now a moot point , because the new version of core_21 is being pushed out to all clients. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=29633 With the updated core version you will be able to use the latest Linux driver (375.26) or the...

Re: WARNING Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers (for xx<48)
Barring all that, I suppose it's possible that the application profile Nvidia put in may not be all-encompassing. Perhaps you have found a work unit/project that wasn't taken into account with the JIT compile time change. It's important to remember that Nvidia hasn't actually fixed the problem with...

Re: WARNING Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers (for xx<48)
Windows driver WHQL 378.49 released. Fixed: [Folding @ Home] Work unit errors occur Linux driver 378.09 - BETA fix still missing! Should nvidia be pushed somehow to also include the fix in the linux driver 378.xx? I've been filing bug reports since the 375.xx drivers released. The only acknowledgem...

Re: Low on Core_17 WU's?
None of my AMD GPUs have been able to get work for the past 24 hours. I also know of at least 10 other users on my team that are having the same issue. I'm not sure how the weighting would affect AMD GPUs, since the only production WUs that can be folded on AMD are core_17. Same error as the above u...

Re: Has anyone figured out the low GPU usage issue yet?
A 7950 on the 12.8 drivers, or a modified newer driver, will get 8-12k PPD. With more of the "good" 11292 WUs being sent out recently you would probably get close to 12k PPD. Even if you are not looking for more points, your GPU will get more work done on the proper driver. With 90% GPU us...

Re: Has anyone figured out the low GPU usage issue yet?
All i can say id that core_16 is really dependant on the cpu, when with my 285GTX core_11 used a little of the CPU like 2~3 percent. Edit: 13.2 beta works fine from my side 90% and above gpu load, but now it took 20% of my cpu usage limiting my CPU folding. You might want to check your TPF on the 1...
