Re: FCI: Folding@Home Client Info (Web based client monitor)
Okay, I guess Stanford doesn't have one. I guess I have to leave this machine on 24/7 and copy down the number of work units and points from a points tracking site for many days in a row -- GPU only, SMP only, both, very manually for many days. And yes, I was using FAHMon, because I did not have suc...

Folding At Home monitoring SW can't find logfile
There are several pieces of software to monitor our clients and submit "points per day" to databases. Stanford has one, overclock.net has one, etc. I'm trying to get the Stanford one to work, but I can't. The help website for some of these monitoring programs is a joke, and I can't get IRC...

Re: Heat!!!!!
Nearly 100 F in Cincinnati. Maybe I should start to fold at home when I leave for work (I work nights). Then turn the computer off when I get home (at dawn). The work units should still get done well before the final deadline. It will be slightly easier on the air conditioning in the house. (And ple...

Re: GPU Client, Sapphire Radeon 6670
Yes, thanks. I downloaded that a day ago, but I forgot to install it. Why did Windows say the other Catalyst driver was up to date? (I don't know, but it's another chance to bash MS if you want.) GPU load went up to 90 - 100 percent. GPU clock went up to 800MHz, memory clock to 1000 MHz (3D, gaming/...

Re: GPU Client, Sapphire Radeon 6670
I checked, and I do have the latest driver (atiumdag 8.961.0.0, in Catalyst package 11.8). The latest Catalyst did not come with OpenCL.dll, I had to get it elsewhere. If I don't have this file, the folding program will throw 2 identical complaint dialogs about every 30-60 seconds. GPU-Z does not li...

Re: GPU Client, Sapphire Radeon 6670
Okay, here's another project begun. The GPU client worked for a few seconds, then failed. Here's the log: 22:13:50:WU00:FS00:Starting 22:13:50:WU00:FS00:Running FahCore: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient/FAHCoreWrapper.exe" C:/Users/Mike/AppData/Roaming/FAHClient/cores/www.stanford.edu/~pa...

GPU Client, Sapphire Radeon 6670
I'd like my CPU AND my GPU to be used for Folding@Home, but I'm having problems. My system: Gigabyte 970A-UD3 AMD FX-8150 CPU (4 cores, 4 pseudo-cores) (aftermarket HS/Fan) 16 GB RAM Sapphire ATI 6670 1 GB PCI-E video (passive cooling) DVD-R/W (Lightscribe) 1.5 TB SATA drive (Win 7 64-bit, Mageia 1 ...
