no i didnt catch it during that time because when it does the cleanup work it is shown in the logfile. nothing cpu hungry (except the smp folding) was running. additionally, i let it sit for a while at 2 seconds. if it was compressing and cleaning up then it had ample time to finish what it was doin...

i understand, but nothing else was using my gpu because the program that displays the gpu usage was showing 0% activity for my 6870

i have a 6870 folding 24/7 and for some reason the gpu gets stuck with 2 seconds remaining. this has happened before once. when it happened i quit FAH and opened it again but when i opened it it said i had an hour left and not 2 seconds. here are screenshots and a logfile. it doesnt show that it is ...

how do i reduce the number of smp threads? I have 1 smp:6 slot and 1 gpu slot. i dont know how to change it from smp:6 to smp:4 or change the number of threads

changing the priority to slightly higher didnt help, and neither did cpu affinity lock on the actual client. should i try affinity lock through task manager or just decrease the percent of cpu utilization down from 100?
