Re: Folding and HP Cloud Service

I guess just to play devils advocate I'll throw this out there. They are using individuals as beta testers. One way to test the system would be to use the resources. In our case it would be testing the CPU's to ensure that they are stable. I just hopped on chat on the HPCloud site, and asked flat ou...

Re: Folding and HP Cloud Service

If HPCS is allocating a specified number of resources to each tester (20GB RAM limit) , can't they use those resources however they deem fit? I mean they are meant to be used right? Just trying to get a handle on the situation before I do anything. I know a few individuals who in the private beta ap...

Re: F@h Keeps crashing, Not sure where to start

Well I tried upping the memory voltage and that didn't seem to help. I still crashed inside of 5 min at 1.6v on the memory. I had flashed the GPUs with an M8900 vbios a few weeks back, but didn't seem to have many issues back then. I flashed the GPUs back to a 6990M vbios and that seems to have fixe...

Re: F@h Keeps crashing, Not sure where to start

Ok guys, thanks for the help. Changing slots to 99%. Also I think perhaps it needs some memory voltage. The system was designed for a max of 8GB (2x4GB) since at the time the system was made single 8GB stick were not available. So it may be a RAM issue. Currently it's operating at 1.5v so I will up ...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

@orphic1 I'm using the Beta 7 Client, but don't really know what the Core 16 is. I'll have to research that tonight. Glad to know I can keep folding and not worry about losing work :D You need to add the following extra slot option in expert view in the folding slot options screen: client-type | ad...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

Yea, hopefully it's up soon. I'm sure they are working hard on it.

I just started a team for us over at Notebook Review Forums, and our last update was on the 10th it looks. Though our systems have been folding since friday. I also need to learn how to optimize my AMD GPUs for my M17x R2
