Re: PG announcement about Big Advanced Projects
I have a suggestion on how the new changes can be slowly phased in, so that the contributors who have spent a lot of money upgrading or built new rigs just for folding, do not feel shortchanged, and Pande Group can achieve their goal of getting WUs back as quickly as possible, so that the science is...

Now I can switch my PC off, then switch the PC on when I am back and continue to fold. I set the slot to finish when the WU was on 96%, so I can...

Re: Minimum no of hrs" box during installation feasible?
Thanks for all the feedback and comments. After reading all the responses, it seems that implementation may be more trouble than its worth, if its even possible to implement it at all. The reason I thought of the idea in the first place, was because the previous time I used the uniprocessor client, ...

Re: Upgrade for folding - Phenom IIX4 970 or Phenom IIX6 109
Thanks for all the suggestions and advice :) I did think of getting the Bulldozer, until I did some checks and realized that my motherboard does not support it. As for an i5/i7 folder, that will probably be my next whole system build, once I saved up enough to get a whole new system. I think I saw a...
