Re: #890 Project7641(345 0 6)

You didn't even care enough do a backup? :( I put a lot of work into analyzing the log you posted. Well, at least I found something I didn't understand in the SMP slot. At least look back through the previous logs and find where that GPU WU originally downloaded so I'll know when it's due to be rea...

Re: #890 Project7641(345 0 6)

I'll bet that if you reduce the overclock or even underclock the GPU it will be stable. . . . or perhaps you need better case ventilation. Then I suppose I would have underclock it because it runs at stock. I have no heat issues as my case is one the best for cooling with an after market CPU cooler...

Re: #890 Project7641(345 0 6)

That was just latest log as I playing around with drivers etc. trying to fix it. I have other logs where that WU failed also. This has happened at least 6 times over 4 days. Sometimes near the end also. The client was shut down so I could dump the 7641 WU. I am having no issues with smp folding. As ...

Re: Project7641(345 0 6)

Technically you can go on failing work units from the same project over and over without a different one being assigned. That depends on what it says in the log, but that wasn't posted so you don't really know that. If it's the V6 client and it says it deleted the WU, then you're right. The WU can ...

Re: Project7641(345 0 6)

Should probably use the 285 drivers, as people report those work well. Also the 76xx projects are much larger than previous work, so any OC that was stable may not be stable any more. And NaN errors are typically from too much OC... I haven't overclocked, running at stock. Also the 285 drivers had ...

#890 Project7641(345 0 6)

This work unit fails with the error NANs detected- unstable machine. I have spent the last 4 days with this same work unit failing over and over after half way through it. Also I keep seeing the comment that there is "clock skew and adjusting". How many times does it take a work unit to fa...

Re: New NVidia 301.24 Beta drivers released today

Perhaps these new drivers will fix the problem many of us were having with their latest WHQL driver regarding stopping the v7 client. Will try them now and get back here.... **EDIT** The new Beta Drivers appear to fix the previous issues of stopping the v7 client that the 296.XX series had...Go get...
