I reduced cores to 3 on the Inspiron to match the Optiplex. Performance is actually better on the Inspiron than the Optiplex. Most probably due to the newer CPU architecture and faster RAM speed. I'm pretty sure the machine configuration is not the culprit. I guess the 1922x projects are just slow ....
