Re: Project 7623, CheY points WAY TOO LOW!

Yes I have been around for maybe 3 years but was inactive the last couple. I am on disability and I build another machine when someone in my family passes (if I can afford it) and the last 3 have almost the same CPU, motherboard, and GPUs. I was Running GTX 760s, but I did try a 960 when they came o...

Re: Project 7623, CheY points WAY TOO LOW!

Well for some reason, all 3 of my marines are folding only this work order, and its 7 hours work for 14000, before I was getting 4 hours for 30 k. I cant understand WHY all my machines are getting this but they are 3 identical machines I guess. I have went from 600 - 800 k a day to a now miserable 1...

Re: Project 7620, CheY points WAY TOO LOW!

Now I am on 7620, and its a 1.5 day project for only 14093 points, running my evga 970. This card has been averaging at least 100 k ppd, so I don't understand this core 15, but will read up on it thanks. Just out of curiosity, why is there no QRB.? Now I am running 9201 which is cheY protein in desc...

Project 7623, CheY points WAY TOO LOW!

According to the detai; page: "CheY has been studied as part of the cannon of simple proteins. However, it is much larger than proteins previously simulated on FAH, and therefore provides a test of the current limits of FAHs computational power." I am running 960s and 970s non clocked but ...

9601 gets much less points per hour

I am running a gtx 960 and on most projects that take 5 hours I get about 25000 points. Recently I keep getting assignments of 9601 that take me 12 - 13 hours and I am only getting 14000 points for them. This only happens so far with work unit 9601. All my drivers are up to date and I am running an ...

Re: I accidentally erased collection server ip address some

Should have stated this earlier but project was due to finish about 8 am CDT. When I checked progress at 10 am I had lost my internet connection and my client had tried several times to connect and could not. I connected with a cable instead of usual wireless and waited. No change thats when Inotice...

I accidentally erased collection server ip address somehow.

Project 10477 my machine is at 99.99% on the GPU side and looking at the log i see that the collection server can't be connected with. Under advanced control I somehow found that the IP address of the collection server setting in this project had somehow been been reset and it reads 0.0.0.0. My work...

Re: 171.64.65.54 - Reject [Emergency downtime]

OK I exited the clients, did a full power off, and my machine has accepted a new SMP WU #6972 for 552 points. I assume the other fully completed SMP wu will upload on its own later, or do I have to do something special?

Re: 171.64.65.54 - Reject [Emergency downtime]

Is it possible to delete this WU and then force a download from a different server? Its been over 5 hours here, over 200 attempted.

Thanks

Re: Stray Volatage, and how to mitigate it.

I puiled the outlet covers and could not believe it Well, I know this is bad, but none of the outlets in the basements are grounded. When my dad wired this basement 35 years ago, he didn't ground. He also never used wire nuts, just twisted with a plier and used black tape. Worse the outlets I use ac...

Stray Volatage, and how to mitigate it.

I noticed in working on my computers in the basement the last few days that I would get very low "tingles" of voltage, that were not strong enough to be called a shock. I really noticed it if my bare skin was touching a "sharp" point on the case, or the trailing edge of the side ...

Re: The bonus for completeing 10 SMPs?

Yes, they were all on the same machine with the same passkey, someone said it might be because some are A3, and some or A2 units. Thanks for the links and information.

I really think this is so cool, and I am putting together a new machine on a shoestring budget to fold some more!

The bonus for completeing 10 SMPs?

When I check my SMP stats, in the points total column on the upper left, it lists more points than I have been given. A friend told me I got a bonus after completing 10 SMP WU's, and that the extra points not awarded, would be awarded as soon as I completed a total of 10 SMP WU's. Today I completed ...
