I apologize. Wasn't trying to be a jerk.

Re: Keep missing deadline

See edit above. Your TPF isn't awful, 18-20 minutes or so... it looks like you turn the computer on shortly after 9am, and turn the machine off a little after 3pm. June 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9 were dates that the client ran. So you're only Folding on weekdays, too, 5 days out of 7. That work unit must hav...

Re: Keep missing deadline

P5-133XL's suggestions are along the lines of what I was going to say. You may have some background task gumming up the works, but to not finish something with a one-month deadline... maybe the computer is going to sleep? Otherwise, you really don't have it turned on that much of the time after all....

Re: ARM coming to our home computers, F@H possible? Also, PS

bruce, that's a good way to put it in terms of the PS4. The PS3 isn't any longer something I view as a good investment as far as science that gets done per Watt, and the PS4 may well end up in the same boat shortly after it's released. With ARM, yes I think the ARM chips that will go in PC's will be...

Re: ARM coming to our home computers, F@H possible? Also, PS

This has been well discussed already. Fah on mobile devices (ARM)? [No] Fah on an iPhone? [No] Fah on an iPad? [No] There are more, Fah on XBox, Fah on Wii, Fah on Atari 2600. Forum search is your friend. ;) I know, I know... I've seen 'em all. I'm aware of these threads and understand why each of ...

ARM coming to our home computers, F@H possible? Also, PS4.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Tudor- ... 12889.html And many other sources confirm that Windows 8 will run on ARM. I wouldn't be caught dead with ARM on my main computer, unless it's cross-compatible with x86 and I just don't know how that's going to go. Different architecture and all. Weaker per...

Re: hi i just started

A lot of people would love to have you on their team. The client you're running will do the job for the hardware you have. You can also run Folding@Home on your CPU in addition to running it on any graphics cards.

Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home

I installed Fahmon on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, to monitor the regular single-core F@H program. It sees how many points the WU's are and all, but won't calculate PPD. That stays as zero for some reason. What's the deal here? F@H is the console version and is installed right in C: in its own fol...

FahMon monitoring, not on same network

Is there any way to monitor a computer's progress if it isn't on the same network I'm on? I've got Folding running on a variety of relatives' PCs who have agreed it's a good cause, and I'd like to be able to monitor all the clients but can't figure out how.
