Just be certain to provide the GPU slot with one processor core - if you're running an SMP slot at the same time. My GPU load went from ~25% to ~90% once I did that.

I'm running a humble 7770 and just installed the 13.4 drivers. GPU-Z (0.7.0) reports ~25% GPU utilization with project 11292. I was getting 90%+ while running the 13.1 drivers earlier this morning.
