Re: Can FAH be made GREEN?

A few months ago they were the bees knees, but now the 48 core G34 rigs are doing simply insane ppd. But that is progress no?

Re: Can FAH be made GREEN?

One excellent solution is to get 48 core plus G34 monsters that can crunch a bigadv overnight on off peak power and relax during the day.

My SR2s are just too damn slow to do a bigadv: 17 to 24 hrs...

Re: Project: 2685 (Run 1, Clone 10, Gen 88) - credit missing

Yup, that makes sense. I didn't realize the upload had not worked before changing names to Kanakis.... My fault.

Thanks for solving the mystery, I will be more careful next time...

Project: 2685 (Run 1, Clone 10, Gen 88) - credit missing?

Hi guys, Project: 2685 (Run 1, Clone 10, Gen 88) - credit missing? I think we are missing credit for a work unit that had some problems due to complications of using Langouste with -oneunit flag and changing users/passkeys... Long story short: I fold for other people, one week at a time. Using Linux...

Re: 130.237.232.237

Ok, that sounds exactly like the smoking gun - my uploads always take 18 to 25 mins, and they would time out. ADSL in Australia is not very fast at uploads. Will try and upload them again... EDIT: uploaded all three fine - getting credit of 80,000 each instead of 126,000, but better than nothing. So...

Re: 130.237.232.237

I have shut down today, but all three machines were humming along fine eating plenty of 6900s recently. Updated all three to A5 and all three grabbed 6901s and fail. All are Windows 7 64bit. Musky reports his unit did upload fine eventually, so I guess I must be special! Although punching http://130...

Re: 130.237.232.237

Sorry I didn't know which to do - I posted as a work unit problem as it seems to be having trouble with multiple servers/ports: 130.237.232.237:8080 130.237.232.237:80 130.237.165.141:8080 130.237.165.141:80 SR2#1: [20:33:14] Completed 250000 out of 250000 steps (100%) [20:33:25] DynamicWrapper: Fin...

130.237.232.237

Hi Guys, Yesterday updated client and got 3 new 6901s. All have failed to upload after finishing ~ 7 hours ago. Musky from [H] is also reporting problems. Hard to tell, lots of problems here. It is Langouste, or the work server, or a new core local bug in corrupting file data? Units finished, langou...

I use it, works very well. Means my downtime of about 20 mins between units is now about 3 mins. For the original poster it would seem a must.

STOP this unit before it kills us all!! :eo  I am the 4th person from [H] to cop this one. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1568872 (Hangs with 0% CPU usage on first frame) http://www.pbase.com/image/131154517/original.jpg EDIT: -ok looks like I caught it after it had had a few goes at it:...

Re: Project: 6900 (Run 30, Clone 19, Gen 2)

Ok, I had just missed it in the HFM log - it wraps around - tired eyes.

So they auto assigned me a 2686, in which time I had sorted my problem, and after that finished I got this same 6900 back but this time completed it.

So I did it 1.9 times to be thorough.

Oh sorry, that would make it easier - I fold under "digitalFX" for team 33, the one, the only [H].

Can't find any completed logfile - just the 2 stabs at it mentioned earlier. EDIT - nope, HFM was messing with me - found it

Sounds like it was me then... I presumed as much and made adjustments for stability... thanks for following that up.

Project: 6900 (Run 30, Clone 19, Gen 2)

Hi guys, I think this one was possibly due to me upping my memory speed a few days before, but just in case I thought I would report it... I upped baseclock rather high, keeping GHz the same, to get mem speed up, but potentially introduced instability. It passed Memtest, intelburntest, and a few hou...
