Re: Project 13428 random FAILED_3, solvable with a reboot
Hello again During my furmark testing, I did try to simulate extreme swings in power draw with enabling/disabling the donut. Starting to wonder if this is a CUDA thing? My old 1070 never crashed, PSU in question is a Seasonic G-650. Projects 13428, 14905, 14904 have crashed for me. *****************...

Re: Project 13428 random FAILED_3, solvable with a reboot
Hey there Just wanted to add my story to the WU. With a newly minted 3090 I was folding 13428 and maybe 10mins later my system just shutdown. Happened three times, but I only noted down the WU on the last instance. Was wondering if my 650W PSU was too weak so I did 3 hours on furmark and then pushed...

Re: Non-standard Motherboard with Eight PCIe x16 Slots
Very good points raised. Completely forgot about losing all those PCIe lanes per slot. Seems like the tried true standard mobo is still the best folding setup.
But cool in concept nonetheless!

Re: Doing a college presentation on F@H, did I forget a topi
One little detail I love to spit out when talking about #7 is . Not only is F@H 3x more powerful than any super computer, but it is the only super computer that is self upgrading. You never hear about Stanford buying new IBM racks with every new Intel processor.

Team user display
What happened! At 20:00 06/04/2010 The people who run the Folding@home Website now only display the top 500 users! It was better when it was at 1000! I put so much time and effort into trying to break the 1000 mark and the next day my hopes get crushed. Just go on to Folding@home>stats>team statisti...
