Yes, it's almost certainly a bad interaction with Vista security. There are several possiblities, though. Which of the recommendations to get FAH to run under VIsta did you choose. Is FAH installed in \Program Files ? Is UAC enabled or disabled? Did you Run As Administrator when you started FAH? UA...

I agree completely with your response. The shocking fact with the drive failures is that in both cases the drives were too hot to touch for more than a few seconds after the failures were detected. I noticed in the FAQ on the site, it mentions a few times about using flags in the console clients. How exactly do you type in the flags though? I've often wondered, does the graphical client respond to the same set of flags? For example, I would like to use the advmethods flag with my GUI clients.
