Re: Project 5102 on SMP Notfred's PPD cut way back

Oh. If it's good for the cause, that's more important than me getting a F@H postbit on Overclock.net, I was just looking forward to it cuz I'm getting close. :-)

Thanks, OK.

BTW, I did look up the WU before posting, but the last post was in January, and before that, Mid-2008, so I thought there might have been more recent news. :-)

Project 5102 on SMP Notfred's PPD cut way back

Hi, The past week or so my SMP Notfred's VMWare Player client has been averaging around 2200 PPD. At some point today I downloaded Project 5102, which has a huge total point value, but my PPD are down to 1400. Here are the other symptoms and my environment stats: Other symptoms: vmware-vmx.exe proce...

This cycle of missing a load of points then occasionally getting a dump of points one day will continue forever. I wasn't clear about which system I was referring to, that is, I was talkin...

Re: Credit versus PPD

Ah, OK, I get it! That's makes perfect sense. And I suppose in the statistics web applications, until someone has been folding long enough for some of those XXtra-value-points days to have accrued, the system only can predict that you will be advancing 1 WU per day, i.e. 1920, when in actuality, ove...

Credit versus PPD

Hi, I am running VMWare Player on Vista 64, with the Notfred's SMP client, on 2 cores of my Phenom x4 @ 3675ghz, and I use FahMon to track progress. I am a bit confused by the discrepancy between the terms "PPD" and "Credit" which are given in the main view. For example, right no...
