Mis-information? Like what? i see posts on forums like "ATi client is not optimized" or "nvidia wu's get a bonus". i know it sounds dumb that i care about something that's pretty inane but there are people with ATi cards that have moved to other projects like milkyway or collatz...

i'm confused on this. is folding at home embarrassingly parallel? and then you parallelize the simulation over all systems or am i doing the same WU over and over with different results each time like rosetta? what kind of fault tolerance system does F@H have? you dont have to go into great detail. ...

No, GPU3 are definitely not in the wild ... so either this guy is lying, or it's a leak ... I also think his story about cluster of 16 shaders is quite obscure ... I also don't see how only 16 shaders could produce more PPD than a single 9800 GTX+ ... FAHMAN's ppd is very strange. he is getting ~15...

ATi has CAL and brook+. CUDA is for nvidia.
