Oh, I didn't need to do that with 5.03. Didn't realise they'd changed the file location with this update.
...and stop spying on people's names in the Fah logs!
Thanks for your help.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
I'm encountering a problem with Fahmon 2.3.3. Apparently there is something wrong with Fahlog.txt, but somone just looked at my log and they've said it's fine. I'm running F@h 6.2. This is the error message i'm getting: Something is wrong with this client. Please check the messages (Tools->Show/Hide...

Re: Confused
Well seeing as my original post was a mini-rant about the download links being out-of-date on the downloads page, I thought this was a better place to put it, v00d00. :P My sister annoyingly turned off my computer after I made the last post, and when I restarted Windows, the MS-DOS box did NOT come ...

Re: Confused
The service didn't ask me where to install to, I just downloaded it, Winzip opened, and I installed it. It NEVER asked me where to install to, so I just assumed it was in Program Files or something. Is this why I can't find the files for the service? Anyways, I ran the installation again (I again wa...

Re: Confused
Excessively long? It only took 2 minutes to read and follow what it says. :P ...But it wouldn't work. I got an error message when I tried to stop the service: http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/3848/errorwi2.jpg Did you read note 3 as well in that link? The -local flag is implied by -svcstart, so addi...

Re: Confused
Oh...I thought the GPU version was supposed to have a low resource requirement simply coz it's working off the GPU? :? Where do I find the files for the GPU service? I've got the folding@home folder in my program files folder but that contains the files for Graphical client. (Running on the CPU) I h...

Re: Confused
I *think* i've actually managed to get both versions working. The normal graphical client (Running on the CPU) is still loading fine when I start Windows, but the service (Running on the GPU) is also running according to the task manager. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4016/foldingth5.jpg I haven'...

Re: Confused
Ok, thanks for the info. I just tried running the version that toTOW linked to, and I entered all the info it asked for. As soon as I finished doing this, the program crashed. The graphical client (5.03) was running at the same time though. I assumed I could run both the GPU service and the CPU grap...

Re: Confused
I just noticed your download link. It's working, but it's the client version rather than the graphics version. I don't like the client because I can't actually tell if it's running or not in the background or even know what it's doing when it is! Why doesn't folding@home take advantage of both the C...

Re: Confused
Err...what? Do I need to run both versions then? How can I do that if i'm just being told the versions have expired? I'm currently working on "p2453_Fragment-Recep", a 400-frame unit and it's going to take me 2 days 5 hours to complete, even though i'm folding 24/7. :( *Edit - google is te...

Re: Confused
No, that's running fine as it is. But how can I take advantage of my extra power if I can't install the GPU versions of Folding@home?

Confused
Hi, i'm new to these forums so sorry if similar questions have been raised before, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I've just upgraded my graphics card to a Radeon x1650. I've been folding for well over a year now, and my old graphics card (Radeon 9250) wasn't able to run the newer GPU cli...
