Re: assign1 and assign2?

The WS with projects that will assign to CPU thread counts less than 4 is down currently. Apparently it was down for a bit, was brought back up, and is down again. That is vav19, you can check its status on the Server Status page - https://apps.foldingathome.org/serverstats. Not sure exactly how lon...

Re: assign1 and assign2?

The servers might be out of projects with WUs that can be assigned to CPU:2 and CPU:3 settings. I have posted a question to the persons running servers, waiting to hear back.

Re: assign1 and assign2?

Please include the client configuration section of the log that should be immediately after the hardware configuration. That would tell us what folding slot is requesting a WU and how that slot is configured. But basically the messages indicate there are currently no WUs available that match up with...

Re: GPUs Info

Thanks for your answer. It's a shame not to be able to use the Intel ARC, they would perform great. Perhaps it will be possible with a newer generation ARC line of chips. It is possible Intel will reconsider taking out the hardware FP64 support and include it again. It was present in a few generati...

Re: Información de las GPU

Isn't it enough for a GPU to have OpenCL support to work with FahClient? What version of OpenCL is required? In addition to support for that version of OpenCL, does the GPU need to have FP64 support? Minimum OpenCL version is 1.2. Yes, FP64 support is required. The current GPU folding cores use som...

By default last 99 logs are kept. Currently the default rotation is once per day, and also each restart of the client.

Re: cannot register for account

I wonder how much spam comes from AWS servers? No idea. But going by what I see here on the forum, less than from MS servers. I also see a few spammers that have managed to hide behind Cloudflare server addresses. But the three of those are greatly outweighed by spam from other sources. AWS and MS ...

You appear to have registered okay with this account, is the account you had problem with here or elsewhere? I do know this forum has had some of its activation emails blocked or marked as spam by some email providers. Beyond adding the admin email address to your whitelist I don't know of any other...

Re: project 16722 very low ppd

The post you linked specifically recommends updating your drivers, and 3614.0 is not one of the recommended drivers. Any reason you haven't updated?

As for blocking these WUs, they were blocked from RX5000 GPUs until the driver fix by AMD came out.

Re: Playstation 5

Only if Sony became interested in doing a client for PS5. But I see no sign of that, just the opposite as it has been years since they discontinued support for the PS3 folding client and they just supported an Android client for their phones for a few years ending 5-6 years ago. P.S. The GPU in the ...

There is a problem at the datacenter where the server with folding core downloads is located, see this post - viewtopic.php?p=364629#p364629.

Re: Request only small units?

Yeah, I have to update that sometime. I only use the MacBook Pro for folding occasionally now to test client software on older versions of the OS and do the occasional beta or internal tests of new CPU projects to verify if they will complete within deadlines. And the iMac is waiting on me to instal...

Re: Request only small units?

This gets asked a few times a year, and other than the suggestions already provided it is not possible. To do so would require the servers to maintain a large database of hardware versus project processing times. That would quickly become unwieldy and incur large amounts of server overhead for littl...
